Davidson Mobley, MA, Master’s of Counseling, NCC (LAPC-pending)

he/him

Welcome!

I work with men wrestling with shame, relationship struggles, grief, or major life transitions. I also walk alongside those navigating the intersection of sexuality and belonging - whether you’re closeted, out, questioning, or somewhere in between. Another focus of my work is with grown-up “gifted kids”: driven, high-achieving people who often cope with self-doubt through performance or helping others, and find themselves exhausted by burnout and perfectionism.

Whatever has brought you here, my goal is simple: to meet you where you are and walk with you toward wholeness. My approach is trauma-informed and person-centered, drawing on attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, somatic work, and parts work. Simply put, I believe healing begins when we feel safe, seen, and connected - to ourselves and to others.

However you’ve navigated the pull between being yourself and being loved, it would be my honor to walk with you toward healing and wholeness. I look forward to connecting with you!

About Me:

Originally from Athens, GA, I’ve lived throughout North Georgia before recently relocating to New York City. I’ve worked internationally in community empowerment across Brazil, Costa Rica, and Egypt, and during graduate school, I briefly supported mental health initiatives for those impacted by HIV/AIDS in East Africa. In addition to my work in the mental health sector, I’m a certified Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and a Fitness Coach at Orangetheory Fitness.

When I’m not with clients, you can find me connecting with friends and family, running, reading, or spending time outdoors. Fun fact: I’m currently training for the NYC Marathon!
